How's the Market?
I am excited about the summer real estate activity. Despite Covid-19 people are literally moving ahead with their real estate plans. Here are the statistics for Durham Region for June 2020:
Average Sold Prices:
Detached: $752,070, up 11.83% over June 2019, and up 6.34% over May 2020
Semi-Detached: $564,164, up 12.85% over June 2019, and up 6.68% over May 2020
Townhouse: $591,812, up 13.63% over June 2019, and up 2.13% over May 2020
Condo: $438,411, up 5.96% over June 2019, and up 13.54% over May 2020
Total homes sold in June 2020 was 1,281, up 17.2% over June 2019 and up 66.36% over May 2020
Total new listings in June 2020 was 1,857, down 5.21% under June 2019, but up 63.18% over May 2020
The average time on the market was 23 days, up 1 day over June 2019 and up 1 day over May 2020

Living on the lake is awesome. Joni and I have lived on Lake Scugog for 26 years. We brought up our daughter here and wouldn't change a thing.
